Titan Optical is extending its portfolio with young and fresh eyewear brand, Polar.

Polar was one of the highlights at Mido 2022, said Titan’s Campbell Gordon. “It really stood out to me with its diverse and attention-grabbing styles. The Italians are hard to beat when it comes to quality and flair.”

After bringing in a small selection of Polar frames to test the market, he said the response was so positive he decided to expand the range to include optical, sunglasses and clip-ons.

Titan’s new sales rep Rose Rogers said it’s nice to be able to offer independents something fresh. “The range is doing really well at the practices that have taken it on board so far, with several of our clients raving about it. It will do well with all who appreciate some patients would love a bit more variety to choose from, while remaining affordable, with the high Italian quality to boot.”

Trying on the new range, Rogers said she stepped out of her comfort zone with a pair from the Polar Gold range and hasn’t looked back. “It’s my first pair of bold acetates and I can’t believe how comfortable they are! The optical range is so diverse, there’s honestly something in there for everyone.”

Polar offers a specific Polar Clip-On and Junior Clip-On range, sold with clip-ons by default. There are also four models in the Polar Gold range, which offers a clip-on option at a small additional cost.
