Hoya Vision Care Australia & New Zealand’s Hi-Vision Sun Pro lens coating is now available on its Sensity lenses, offering enhanced aesthetics and UV protection this spring and summer.
The anti-reflective coating offers double-sided UV protection and improves the aesthetics and convenience of the outdoor tinting, due to the neutral reflection in dark state and the increased contrast it provides, said Craig Chick, managing director, Hoya Vision Care ANZ. “Hi-Vision Sun Pro will elevate Sensity aesthetics to the next level in the darkened state of the lens.”
The Hi-Vision Sun Pro coating not only prevents UV transmission through the lens but also reduces the amount of UV rays reflected into the eyes from the back surface, providing comprehensive protection, he added. “The expansion of the Hi-Vision Sun Pro coating to our Sensity lenses in Australia and New Zealand underscores Hoya’s commitment to supporting eyecare professionals and delivering innovative products that meet the evolving needs of their patients.”
The coating is scratch-resistant for durability and repels water, grease and dirt, making the lenses easy to clean, Hoya said. The Hi-Vision Sun Pro coating is now available on all Hoya Sensity lenses, excluding Sensity Shine, as well as on its tinted and polarised lenses.
Hoya Order Centre up and running
Adding to the Hoya Hub, the Hoya Order Centre is now available to partners. Also available through the hub and integrated with Hoya Consultation Centre 360 is the Hoya Digital Fitting app. Using a smart centration software, it allows practitioners to take fast, accurate and precise fitting measurements. “The Hoya Digital Fitting app delivers a comfortable and technologically advanced experience for the patient and is easy to use by practice staff,” the company said. No jig or other attachments are required to capture position of wear measurements.
