Ophthalmology New Zealand (ONZ) is inviting business leaders, ophthalmologists, managers and technicians to its annual business forum on Saturday 9 May, hosted at the Crowne Plaza Queenstown.
Themed ‘The Resilient Practice: Mastering Efficiency in Ophthalmology’, the full-day 2026 ONZ Business Leaders Forum programme will feature keynote Gráinne Moss, chief executive and secretary for the Ministry of Regulation and decorated ultra-marathon swimmer; Dr Stephen Child, chief medical officer at Southern Cross Health Insurance; Chrissie Cowan ONZM, CEO of Kāpō Māori Aotearoa and co-chair of Eye Health Aotearoa; and others, in what organisers promise to be an exciting day addressing key industry issues.
“This year marks our eighth annual forum and, like many others, we are thrilled to be hosting it in the stunning location of Queenstown,” said ONZ CEO Associate Professor Moira McInerney. “More importantly, we are passionate about bringing together doctors and staff from all over Aotearoa for a dynamic day of engagement, vital networking and collaboration focused on continually improving the services we provide to our patients.”
The event is open to all and free to ONZ members. Kirk Kikirekov, managing director of h-trak, will be hosting the business leaders’ dinner following the forum. For more and to sign up, https://ophthalmologynz.co.nz/events/2026-onz-business-leaders-forum
