RANZCO NZ ASM registration open

Planning for the 76th edition of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) NZ Annual Scientific Meeting 7–9 May 2026 at the QT Queenstown (formerly Rydges) is well underway, with registration now open.

Confirmed by this year’s convenor, Dr Verona Botha, the keynotes are: Dr John Ellis (University of Dundee, Scotland), Dr Jan Tjeerd de Faber (Rotterdam Eye Hospital, Netherlands), Professor Carol Karp (Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Florida, US) and nurses keynote Dr Heather Machin (CERA, Australia).

The conference will start on Thursday 7 May with a registrar training day followed by a welcome function for all delegates in the sponsor area at the QT hotel. The conference proper will kick off the next day, with plenary and concurrent sessions followed by the popular conference dinner. Saturday 9 May is the last full day, offering plenary and concurrent sessions and wrapping-up late afternoon.
