The new high-tech and stylish interior at OPSM Invercargill

OPSM Invercargill has become the optometry practice chain’s most high-tech New Zealand store, having recently been completely refurbished with a full instrument suite and Clarifye digital exam technology. “We are very proud to provide the South with the latest technology and a premium customer experience in our beautiful new store,” said store manager Kerry Nicholson. “Our retail team enjoy being more involved in the customer journey, completing the pre-testing using the new equipment, and our customers have been very impressed with our very thorough, uncomplicated new technology.”

The nationwide upgrade and refurbishment programme was kicked off in Rotorua last year, said Jonathan Payne, OPSM NZ’s professional services manager. The optometry chain has since renovated a further six stores – the latest being Invercargill, Auckland’s Lynn Mall and Sylvia Park – and is looking to complete another 12 by the end of the year.
