A behind-the-scenes, first-look at award-winning film maker Jane Weiner’s new documentary, Losing Sight – Inside the Myopia Epidemic will be made available to stream online from 30 October to 16 November 2022.

Having watched the 25-minute work-in-progress film excerpt, viewers will be asked to submit questions and feedback and the first 1000 people to sign up will be able to attend one of three live panel discussions on 3 November 2022 hosted by a moderator, Weiner and two to three myopia specialists. The Asia Pacific panel discussion is scheduled for 6pm AEST, 3 November 2022.

Losing Sight focuses on childhood myopia, which presents risk of ocular diseases later in life, and explains how new therapies can help slow eye elongation.

From 4 November 2022, recordings of all three regional panels will be available for ticket holders to access online.
