Three Bachelor of Optometry part IV students at the School of Optometry & Vision Science, University of Auckland are inviting New Zealand’s practising optometrists to take part in their myopia-control survey.

Building on a similar 2020 survey, Kelly Zeng, Veronika Stojanovikj and Halloran Connolly, supervised by teaching fellows Zaria Bradley and Bhavna Patel, are seeking to better understand potential barriers that New Zealand optometrists face in delivering myopia control care. “We are interested in hearing from all optometrists who hold a current practising certificate, whether [or not] you currently provide myopia control treatments, refer patients for such treatments or manage progressing myopia,” they said.

The short survey is anonymous and closes 30 November. To take part, visit:  https://redcap.auckland.ac.nz/surveys/?s=RF778P3KMTFRKP7T
