Dr Riyaz Bhikoo, now with Auckland Eye

Specialising in vitreoretinal and macula disorders, ocular tumours and complex cataracts, Dr Riyaz Bhikoo has joined the Auckland Eye team.  

The second fellowship-trained ocular oncologist in New Zealand, Dr Bhikoo’s expertise spans the diagnosis and management of ocular tumours, including melanomas of the uveal tract (choroid/iris/ciliary body), metastasis and lymphoma. He trained in Canada and the US and worked in both Western Australia and Tasmania before returning home with his young family to consult at Auckland Eye’s Remuera, Takapuna and Ormiston clinics.

New clinic 

Auckland Eye has also opened the doors to its latest clinic in Pukekohe, South Auckland. Consulting from Pukekohe Auckland Eye are Drs Justin Mora, David Pendergrast and Sarah Welch.
