Monoqool has introduced a new 3D technology achieving semi-transparent 3D printed glasses for the first time while also cutting back on energy used.  

The new Liquid 3D Technology is one of the most sustainable manufacturing processes in the eyewear field, according to the Danish brand. Combining a low-temperature process with ultra-fast printing, it consumes 90% less energy compared to conventional Selective Laser Sintering 3D printing, Monoqool said. “Comparing to the process of making traditional acetate glasses the CO2 reduction is even higher.”
