The International Opticians’ Association (IOA) has opened entries for the Silmo IOA International Optician of the Year Award 2023.

As well as being a qualified DO in their country of practice, the winner’s qualities will include being a champion of the profession and possessing excellent communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit and creativity. Australia’s Grant Hannaford took the top prize in 2022, and a trip to Silmo 2024, including economy air fare and hotel, awaits this year’s winner.
