Free webinar on evidence-based practise for vascular conditions and common masqueraders

Thursday 26 May: 8-10pm (NZT) or 6-8pm (AEST)

 

The University of Canberra's Discipline of Optometry is holding its inaugural interactive event on vascular conditions on the evening/night of Thursday 26 May 2022. The event is split into two parts:

 

  • Part A: Clinical interactive session on a challenging vascular clinical case studies and updated evidence-base practice. At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to implement evidence-based management and co-management of systemic and ocular vascular disorders. Presenters: Professor Colin Chan, Dr Agnes Choi, Layal Naji and Rachel Smeal

 

  • Part B: Optometry clinical education interactive session aimed at external providers facilitating students on placement and optometrists interested in clinical education. At the completion of this activity, participants should be able to understand and assess the levels of clinical skill and analysis expected of a final year optometry student in a community practice setting. Presenters: Dr Pat Arthur, Dr Vicki Evans and Tina Jong
