OIC's Campbell Gordon and Tim Way

Campbell Gordon has joined Ophthalmic Instrument Company (OIC) as national product specialist looking after diagnostic equipment and software across ophthalmology and optometry.

Gordon, previously with Device Technologies, has developed in-depth industry knowledge with brands such as Medmont. It was time for a change and when the opportunity came up, I didn’t hesitate, he said. “The business Tim [Tim Way] has built up over the years is phenomenal, the depth and the scale simply mind-blowing.”

OIC’s Way said, “We - Chris Malicdem and I - have been running the business thinly spread across products for some time. Cam’s skills compliment ours and with him on board we have the ability to follow up more opportunities.”

Joining OIC in October as ophthalmic surgical sales representative is Tim’s younger brother Chris Way, returning from the UK. “Chris has got a lot of skills in this area and it will great to have him back in New Zealand. It will be a pretty formidable team,” said Way.
